BidVerdict alternative: a max bid on the lot page, not a form

BidVerdict is a verdict tool. As of Oct 12, 2026, its homepage form asks for the year, make, model, mileage, condition and ZIP code, plus the auction fee, sales tax and your profit target, and returns a BUY or NO BUY with a max bid.

CarFlipIQ starts from the lot instead of the form. The extension reads the lot page you are on and draws a card with a max bid, a local resale estimate and the number of listings behind it. Both are quick. They suit different habits.

What BidVerdict does

Its pricing page (Oct 12, 2026) lists, for the Pro plan, a BUY, CAUTION or DO NOT BUY verdict with a max bid, a full cost breakdown (fees, tax, recon, profit), local market comp research, photo condition analysis, a transaction history and P&L dashboard, and CSV export. Elsewhere its pages mention a market demand score and average days to sell. It describes the comps as an AI that researches current market listings and returns a range with a confidence score (High, Medium or Low), and it lets you override the comps by hand.

As of Oct 12, 2026, Pro is $13 a month, or $10 a month billed as $120 a year. A Dealer Pro plan is $49 a month and its feature list adds a live auction bid tracker, SMS alerts and bulk export. The homepage says: "One free analysis per day. No credit card. No sign-up required." Its FAQ says BidVerdict does not offer a free trial.

It describes itself as mobile-first, for running an analysis while standing at an auction. Its plans also mention other asset types, such as equipment and real estate. In our check we did not find a browser extension or a lot-page overlay on its pages.

Who BidVerdict is for

Buyers who want the lowest list price of the tools compared here and a low-effort start: a form and a verdict. It also fits someone who buys more than cars, since its pages speak to other asset types.

What CarFlipIQ does differently

You do not retype the car. On a Copart or IAAI lot page, CarFlipIQ's card appears with the vehicle already read from the page, next to the current bid. On a long run of lots that is the difference between one glance and one form per car.

The comps are a fixed index, with the count on the card. CarFlipIQ's LocalIQ™ price index is built from local used-car listings and priced in your saved state. The card shows how many comps sit behind the number and says so when the data is thin. BidVerdict's pricing page describes an AI that researches current listings for each analysis.

Time to sell is on the web, not the card. BidVerdict lists average days to sell with its verdict. CarFlipIQ's time-to-sell data is on carflipiq.com, on the Edge plan and above. The lot-page card does not show it.

A different price shape. CarFlipIQ costs more per month and is priced by lookup volume, with a free allowance first.

FAQ

Is BidVerdict cheaper than CarFlipIQ?

Yes, by list price. As of Oct 12, 2026, BidVerdict's Pro plan is $13 a month. As of Oct 12, 2026, CarFlipIQ lists Essentials at $59 a month (50 extension lookups a month), Edge at $149 (500) and Elite at $249 (unlimited). The tools work differently, so price is only one part of the choice.

Does BidVerdict give a free analysis?

Its homepage says one free analysis per day, with no card and no sign-up. Its FAQ separately says it does not offer a free trial. CarFlipIQ gives 25 extension lookups after you verify your phone.

Does CarFlipIQ ask me to type in the car?

Not on a lot page. The extension reads the vehicle from the page. On carflipiq.com you can also search by year, make and model or paste a VIN.

How do the two tools get their comps?

BidVerdict's pricing page describes an AI that researches current market listings and gives a confidence score. CarFlipIQ's LocalIQ™ index is built from local used-car listings, priced in your saved state, with the comp count on the card.

Can I use both?

Yes. They do not conflict: one is a form you fill in, the other a card on the lot page. Check each tool's current terms.
